Choosing a box for your Roll Pack wheel system
A sturdy cardboard box protects your bike and pairs well with your Roll Pack system. Start by calling local bike shops, which often have strong boxes available after new bikes are unpacked.
- Choose a strong, well-sized box with firm cardboard and minimal wear from shipping. Make sure your bike will fit!
- Inspect the sides, corners, and overall health of the box before packing; no used box is perfect.
- Strengthen dents, weak seams, and small imperfections with extra packing tape or cardboard reinforcement.
- Fill extra space in your box with extra cardboard sheets to protect you bike even better.
Travel in rain: If rain is expected, duct tape the bottom of the box thoroughly to help protect the cardboard and wheel system during travel.
